About Us

Cathy Marriott and Sue Baker first established Camden Source in 2001 as a Home Product Consultancy business. Always having a passion and love for textile design and a desire to work with the very best quality materials we went on to launch  dormitory and Grand Hotel,our own collections of bed linen and accessories.

We met at Liberty of Regent Street where our careers began in the linen department. Working up through the ranks we were both, in turn, to become buyers for the very department we started in and then to go on to other London stores and brands at a senior level in the field of home merchandise.

We both come from textile backgrounds (Sue studied Textile design) and (Cathy came from a family of Tailors and Embroiderers) which inspired us to return to our creative roots. We take immense satisfaction in seeing our products go from the first paper draft through to a finished product.

Today there are four collections and numerous special projects for retail brands, hoteliers and interior designers. With three long established production centres in three different countries our strength has always been to translate design elements into a varied range of products, textures and techniques to offer a complete merchandise concept.
